Pickhurst
Designed by the well-known Victorian architect JM Brydon in 1885, as a grand country estate in the timbered
neo-gothic style favoured by Richard Norman Shaw. Robert Blower designed a series of interventions,
extensions and alterations to upgrade the house for 21st Century living as well as repair some damage and
poor alteration by previous owners.
