Charles Hill

Detmar Blow, like Oliver Hill, was one of a generation of architects that bridged the Victorian, Edwardian,
Art Deco and the Modern in architecture. Charles Hill Court is an unusual French Second Empire style house
he designed, arranged around an oval hall, with a mansard upper floor. Michael Blower carried out a
restoration, extensions and alterations with the eminent architect, Roderick Gradidge.
