Modelshop Opens 1st June 2017
Newly equipped woodworking and joinery shop opened for traditional wood and metal modelmaking, prototyping and 3d printing; 1st project a 1-200 scale model of Farnham Town Centre for the Blower Foundation and Farnham Society.

Stedman Blower have just received Planning and Listed Building consent on a Grade II Listed House near Chiddingfold. The Oak Framed extension completes this charming home by relocating the kitchen and this sun room to take advantage of the spectacular views of the surrounding bucolic landscape.

New cottage in rural idyll 11th Nov 2015
Planning consent has just been approved on a new cottage set on the outskirts of a rural village in Hampshire. This traditional cottage is a one for one replacement on a large plot. The original house was a dilapidated cottage which sat at the back of a spacious plot which was littered with some extraneous and scrappy outbuildings. We proposed a two storey cottage set in the middle of the site with detached oak garage and sweeping driveway.
Guildford Design Awards win 9th Nov 2015
Stedman Blower have been announced as one of two Winners for their sensitive design at St Martha’s Priory. The Awards ceremony was held at the Guildhall on the 10th November 2015.

Stedman Blower have won the commission to design a new mixed use development of circa 30,000sqft on a key site along East Street in Farnham, recycling a site that has been used for car manufacture for over 100 years. Prior to that the site housed a wheelwright’s business owned by George Sturt – he of ‘The Wheelwright’s Shop’, a book written under the alias George Bourne which documents the passing of Victorian crafts on the cusp of the machine age.
Waverley Design Awards win 30th Oct 2015
Stedman Blower was awarded with a Highly Commended for the practices work on Overdeans Court in the Waverley Design Awards, which were announced on 29th Oct.

Listed Building and Planning Consent was granted for a contemporary twist on the reuse of two former agricultural barns. The intricate brick detailing of the old Barns is complimented by the lightness of touch of the glazed link.

120 years of Stedman Blower 11th Sept 2015
An exhibition of work produced by the practice for more than a century is on display in the Long Kiln gallery in the Farnham Maltings from 11th to 18th September.

Local Authority Design Awards 22nd July 2015
Three Stedman Blower projects have been short-listed for the local design awards, two in Waverley and one in Guildford. The Awards will be announced later in the year.
